Abstract

Conservation in the West Kootenay (WK) involves a diverse range of organizations working at varying scales and scope. On October 14, 2010 the East Kootenay Conservation Program (EKCP) and the Fish and Wildlife Compensation Program – Columbia Basin (FWCP) co-hosted a stakeholder’s workshop in Nelson to consider the question: “ Is there interest in a new integrated partnership to achieve conservation objectives on private land in the West Kootenay?”

Manager EKCP. Formerly BC Ministry of Environment Kootenay Regional Manager for Parks and Protected Areas, Fish and Wildlife and Ecosystems - 2002 to 2009.
